How do I upload an image for the memorial?A: Just click on the browse button, next to the "Image of pet" field on the add memorial screen, locate the file on your computer, and click open. The image must be a jpeg file. Q. What is "Give a memorial"? A: If you have a friend or family member who has recently just lost a beloved pet, you can help ease the pain of the loss by purchasing a memorial for them. This works like an e-voucher, and an e-mail will be send to the recipient, who can then add a memorial of their own, when they feel the time is right. View MemorialsQ: How do I search for a specific type of memorial?A: You can search by a specific letter by clicking on the appropriate letter at the top of the view memorial screen. A search can also be made by pet type, e.g. dog. Or you can search by pet name, show name, parent first name, or parent surname. Q: Why can't I see the tribute I have just added? A: All tributes are sent to the apetcemetery.com administration team first for approval before publication on the website. Poems, Stories and PrayersQ: Why can't I view the poem/story I have just submitted?A: All poems/stories are sent to the apetcemetery.com administration team first for approval before publication on the website. Q: Why can't I e-mail or send an ecard of one of the poems to a friend? A: To use this facility you must be a member of apetcemetery.com and logged in. Q: How d I find the latest poems, stories and prayers that have been added? A: There is now a "View New" link ehich shows the most recent poems, stories and prayers added to the site.. eSympathy CardsQ: I have sent a card to a friend, why have they not received it?A: You have to go to your own e-mail inbox and click on the link to verify you are the person who sent the card. If you are logged in, you will not have to verify your card before it is sent to the recipient. PricingQ: How long does my subscription last?A: The pet memorial headstone, along with the epitaph, flowers, toys, image, media gallery and memories is for life, there are no additional charges. Q: Can I upgrade my filestore and number of memorials? A: Yes, by simply logging into your apetcemetery account, you can access the upgrade center where you can increase your filestore for your media gallery and purchase additional memorials. UpgradesQ: Can I increase the number of memorials in my account?A: Yes, by simply logging into your apetcemetery account, you can access the upgrade center where you can purchase additional memorials. Each additional memorial is $3, and there is no minimum purchase. Q: I have no more space to add pictures, can I add more space? A: Yes, by simply logging into your apetcemetery account, you can access the upgrade center where you can buy extra file space in blocks of 1mb (megabyte) at $3 each, and there is no minimum purchase. MessageboardQ: What do the grey and Green symbols mean beside eah messageboard / topic?A: These sybols indicate if you have read a message or not. Green means unread and Grey means read. Q: Can people without an apetcemetery.com account use the messageboards? A: No. To prevent abuse and to keep the messageboards as a close knit community we have decided to restrict them to apetcemetery.com members only. Q: What should I do if I witness people abusing the messageboards? A: Simply send an e-mail to support@apetcemetery.com and it will be dealt with accordingly. OtherQ: Can I change the flowers and the toys I have added to my memorial?A: Yes, once you have created a memorial for your pet, you can change the flowers and the toys, as many times as you wish, at no extra charge. All you need to do is log in, and click on edit my account. Q: What is the certificate for? A: This is a printable certificate of your pet's memory and admission into apetcemetery.com. To print the certificate, just click on the "print" button on screen. We have left the background blank, so you can choose to print on any type or color of paper you like Q: What is the text that appears at the top and bottom of the certificate? Can it be removed to make the certificate look better? A: The text is what is known as the header and the footer. The only way to prevent this from printing if you are using Internet Explorer, is to go to File Menu (at the top left of your screen), select 'Page Setup' and delete any text that is in the Headers and Footers fields (about half way down the page), and click ok. The next time you print the certificate, the extra text at the top and bottom, will not appear. If you are using a different browser then you will have to amend these instructions accordingly. | |
